Welcome to The Aether Throne

The Aether Throne is a tabletop roleplaying game of pulp action, intrigue and mysticism set in a steampunk ‘alt-history’ version of Victorian-era London and beyond.

This intro pack contains all you need to get a flavour of the full system, and comprises these rules, a pre-generated adventurer log sheet, and a solo tutorial scenario, The Streets of Whitechapel.

The solo scenario is available to download for FREE using the link below, which gives you a taste of what the game has in store and lets you decide if you would like to purchase the basic 20-page rulebook and the pregenerated character sheet.

Using these, you can experience the system in action, using a single twenty-sided die and a deck of normal playing cards to pit your wits against a dangerous foe in a dark part of the Empire.

The full game will feature magic and science, and includes a range of professions that players can choose as a background for their adventurers. It will also include a fully fleshed-out version of London and the Empire, as well as the mysterious Aether Court, otherworldly beings that have unimaginable powers that a select few mortals are able to tap into.

It will include equipment, gadgets, magical invocations, scheming factions, detailed tactical combat rules and more, and is accompanied by a series of scenarios for group, collaborative and solo play.
